Go Daddy is adapting to its growing customer base in China by offering Alipay, China's leading payment platform with more than 270 million registered users [1]. The world's largest domain name registrar is making building and maintaining an online presence easier for customers in China with this new addition.

"Offering Alipay just makes doing business online with us that much easier - and that's important to us."China has experienced explosive growth of Internet users and their adoption of new technologies. According to the China Internet Network Information Center, China is home to more than 384 million Internet users.

Alipay facilitates approximately five million online payments daily totaling more than $180 million in total transaction volume. [1] What sets Alipay apart from other online payment platforms is Alipay holds funds in escrow until the product is received, making it a more popular and trusted option.

In addition to Alipay, Go Daddy also accepts credit cards, PayPal, personal checks and cash under the GoodAsGold option for its products and services.
