<P><FONT face=Verdana size=2>Here we will walk you through the <STRONG>.htpasswd
Generator</STRONG> function of EzClick. This area of EzClick provides you with a
simple interface to set a new username/password set for the .htaccess files in
the logs folder.</FONT></P>

color=#00ff00>*This should be done before making EzClick
active</FONT>!</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Verdana size=2><STRONG>.htpasswd Generator</STRONG> is accessed by
clicking on the <FONT style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #a6caf0"
color=#000000><STRONG> [ Click To Show/Hide ] </STRONG></FONT> under
the .htpasswd Generator heading of the administration interface.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Verdana size=2>This screen will look like the following
screenshot.</FONT></P>

<STRONG>Username</STRONG> and <STRONG>Password</STRONG> in the boxes above. Then
click on the <STRONG>Create Password Set</STRONG> button to process and create
the set for you.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Verdana size=2>The next screen will look like this.</FONT></P>

paste</STRONG> this information into the .htpasswd file located in the logs
folder. Save and upload the .htpasswd file to the logs folder.</FONT></P>

folder to provide another layer of security for EzClick.</EM></FONT></P>

.htpasswd) are in the logs folder to hopefully prevent anyone from browsing our
database through their browser! This includes the EzClick user as
well!</EM></FONT></P>

honest here, if someone wants it they will probably find a way to get it! We
have added a few things to make this more difficult... NOT MAKE IT ALL TOTALLY
SECURE!</FONT></P>

such thing!</FONT></P>
<P><FONT color=#000000><FONT face=Verdana size=2>But we can take steps to make
it harder and to try and protect our information, that is the best anyone

<P><FONT face=Verdana size=2>EzClick comes with .htaccess protection embedded
into the system to help protect the logs folder from prying eyes.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Verdana size=2>You will need to edit these files to better protect
your EzClick installation.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Verdana size=2><STRONG>.htaccess:</STRONG></FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Verdana size=2>You will need to change the path information at the
top of the .htaccess file.</FONT></P>
