<P><FONT face=Verdana size=2>Here we will walk you through the <STRONG>Add A
New Link</STRONG> Area of EzClick. This area of EzClick provides you with a
simple interface to add new links to your management system.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Verdana size=2>The <STRONG>Add New Link</STRONG> form is accessed
by clicking on the <FONT style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #a6caf0"><FONT
style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #a6caf0" color=#000000> </FONT><STRONG><FONT
style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #a6caf0" color=#000000>[ Click To Show/Hide
]</FONT><FONT color=#000000> </STRONG></FONT></FONT> under the <STRONG>Add
A New Link</STRONG> To The Database heading of the administration
interface.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Verdana size=2>This screen will look like the following
screenshot.</FONT></P>

permissions on these files.</STRONG></FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Verdana color=#808080 size=2><EM>* Note: Make sure you set the
chmod 0777 or chmod 0755 on the mysticlock.php file or this process will
fail!<BR>* Note: Make sure you set the chmod 0666 or chmod 0755 on the log files
in the logs folder!</EM></FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Verdana size=2>Now we begin adding our link information for our
first new link.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Verdana size=2><STRONG>Start Counting From:</STRONG> This allows
you to set any number you like for each link or it will always default to 0
(zero) for all new links. If EzClick were replacing say another tracking
system... You could start your new count from the last count in the old
one.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Verdana size=2><STRONG>Link Name:</STRONG> This allows you enter
an easy or memorable name for each link. I t can be just about anything up to 40
characters in length. Why 40 characters? Simple, it's a layout issue more than
anything else.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Verdana color=#808080 size=2><EM>*NOTE: If you do NOT enter a Link
Name, the URL will be used for the Link Name!</EM></FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Verdana size=2><STRONG>Link URL:</STRONG> This is where you input
the original URL for the link you want to keep track of. Just about any link can
be used like htp:// https:// ftp:// ect.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Verdana size=2>Once all information has been placed in the proper
box, click the Add Link button to add this new link to the database.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Verdana size=2>The next screen you see will look like the
following.</FONT></P>

<P><FONT face=Verdana size=2>In the above screen, lets see what we
have.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Verdana size=2>It will list the link ID for this link, which is
the ID number EzClick has assigned to this link. It then gives a brief
description of how to use this new link. In this case it would be;</FONT></P>

size=2><EM>http://www.your_domain.com/ezclick/ezclick.php?id=4</EM></FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Verdana color=#000000 size=2>This would be the link you paste into
your HTML page instead of the original link of http://www.demo.com</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Verdana color=#000000 size=2>EzClick will now track the clicks on
this link.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Verdana size=2>Now we click on the <STRONG>Return To
Previous</STRONG> button to return to the main interface.</FONT></P>
