Installation Help
~~~~~~~~~~

1.  	Variables to edit in "config.php": (only edit the following!)

	$root = "/home/www/your/root/search"; 		// the root to the search folder NO TRAILING SLASH AT THE END!
	$user = "admin";						// your username for control panel (be original!)
	$pass = "password";  					// your password for control panel

	$yourwebsite = "http://www.cj-design.com"; 	// enter the address of your website

	$stats = true;						// set to true if you want to show Search Execution Time and Items Searched on search results
									// set to false to disable feature!

2.  	Upload all the required files as you downloaded them into a directory (ideally called search)
	CHMOD "site.txt" to 777.  If you dont CHMOD it or dont know how, go to admin.php
	and select "Stats/Test" from the menu - clicking on CHMOD will give you a tutorial

	Make sure that the images are all uploaded in the folder "/gfx"

3.	Go to the page you inserted the "htmlcode.dat" and test it works!

4.	Tricky Part!

	Ok, If you want to incorporate the search results into your PHP web design you should do the following:

	I.	Create a page with the htmlcode.dat inserted within it.
	II.	Change the form action to <form action="id=search" method="post"> (note:  change "id" to whatever you use)
	III.	The rest is done for you!

	If you want to incorporate the search results into your HTML web design you should use the following:

	I.	Create a page with the htmlcode.dat inserted within it.
	II.	Create an IFRAME below the search engine and call it "search_results"
	III.	Change the form action to <form action="search.php" method="post" target="search_results">
	IV.	Ensure your IFRAME is the correct size (for more info on IFRAMEs search google!)

	Otherwise...

	I.	Open up search.php
	II.	At the very top of search.php insert HTML code to create a header
	III.	At the very bottom of search.php insert HTML code to create a footer.
	IV.	Your results will be displayed between the header and footer! 

5.	Adding, Editing, Deleting, Viewing...

	Go to www.yourdomain.com/search/login.php

	login with your username and password.  You will come to the main menu.  The options displayed are described below:

	Add
	~~~

	To add a website..
		1.	Insert the title of the page/website into the "Page Title" box
		2.	Insert a description into the "Description" box.  Try and keep this about the size of google's descriptions
		3.	Insert the URL of the page/website into the URL box.  Ensure it has the http:// infront of it!
		4.	Finally insert keywords in the form:  Keyword1 Keyword2 Keyword3

	Edit
	~~~

	To edit a website..
		1.	Click on the [edit] link next to the website url which is sorted alphabetically
		2.	The website will be displayed underneath, change any of the details
		3.	Click submit (simple really)

	Delete
	~~~~~

	To delete a website...
		1.	Click on the [delete] link next to the website url
		2.	The website will be deleted

	View
	~~~~

	To view details of your links within the database...
		1.	Click on the [view] link next to the website url
		2.	The website will be shown underneath the links

	Stats/Test
	~~~~~~~

	To view stats or to test the database...

		1.	If you get the message "Not writable, CHMOD site.txt" then you must CHMOD site.txt!
		2.	Test the script by entering a keyword into the box, the search results will load in a new window
