If your Wordpress is installed one level below root (i.e. www.yoursite.com/WordPess_blog/ then set the offset to 0 (i.e. zero) or comment it out like this ... //$offset = -1;

If your Wordpress is installed two levels below root (i.e. www.yoursite.com/another_level/WordPess_blog/ then set the offset to 1 (i.e. one)

This feature adds a unique to your website Title, description, and keywords to each page ever produced and delivered to the end user.
It makes them unique to your website by adding the information you entered in your widget creation form to place your info infront of and behind a BungeeBones title.
Then, we add the category name to the page description and to the front of the keywords. Every directory page's meta tags is unique.

Get your permalink name.

It will vary depending on which permalink style you have chosen but you can locate it easily from the WordPress Admin "Page" EDIT control panel. Mouseover the "view" link in the lower tool bar. If you can't find it click the link and load the page into your browser. Now you can use the actual url in the browser's address bar to get your pqage name. In the case of the bungeebones demo at www.advertisie.us the link looks like this --- http://www.advertisite.us/bungeebones-distributed-web-directory/---- and the permalink name is bungeebones-distributed-web-directory.

Copy your permalink name and enter it in $bb_permalink name = config line above like this $bb_permalink name ="bungeebones-distributed-web-directory";

Then, go to your wp-content/themes folder and then open your current theme's folder.
In there you will see a page titled "header.php". First make a backup of that file (just in case) and save it.
Then, open the header.php file.

Then, copy and paste at the very top of that page everything FROM AND INCLUDING THE <?php to the second row of /////// below being very careful that you insert the code and don't overwrite anything that is there.
What I usually do is place my cursor at the very front of the first line and hit enter a couple of times to push the text down a couple of rows and the use I return the cursor to the top left postion again.

Now copy and paste this code there
?????????????????????????????????Begin BungeeBones Code????????????????????????????????????

//Note: If your Wordpress is installed in a subcategory then add your subdirectry's name
//to the file name below --- here is an example include($_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT']."/YOUR SUBDIRECTORY'S NAME HERE/wp-content/plugins/bungeebones-distributed-web-directory/bb_dynamic_hdr.php");

??????????????????????????????????END BUNGEEBONES CODE?????????????????????????

Now you need to remove a few lines that will have been duplicated in the code we inserted.

One line will be the doctype declaration and it will look something lvery much like this
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
Delete the entire line.

Then, very close to where theat line was will be a line like this
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" <?php language_attributes(); ?>>
Delete it also

Here is where it may get a little tricky... you need to find the "head" tag. When it is by itself it
looks like this <head> but some themes may add some extraneous stuff like this <head profile="http://gmpg.org/xfn/11">
delete the head tag being sure to delete both the opening arrow "i.e. the "<") and the closing one (the ">")

Another one that may be tricky is the char set code. It will be a line like this
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="<?php bloginfo('html_type'); ?>; charset=<?php bloginfo('charset'); ?>" />
If there is none that look exactly like that the key word to look for in the code is the word "charset".
Delete that line.
The last line to remove will be the title tag. Actually, it is a pair of title tags.
There is an opening title tag that looks like this "<title>" and a closing tag like this "</title>".
Delete both tags and everything in between them

Now save the file.

refresh and view the page in your browser. Hopefullt there aren't any errors. If there are, go back over the steps above.

You can also try again. Rename the one you just created. Then make a copy of the original backup of the file that you made when we started and save it under the name "header.php just like the original.
Now you have a restored copty of the original and a backup still. Try repeating the steps above

If that still doesn't work you can contact me at hide@address.com You should send a copy of the file with your email
