1. LICENSE

   This program is released under the terms of the ARTISTIC LICENSE. A copy
   of the license if included and can be found in this directory.

2. REQUIREMENTS

   + PHP4(w/PEAR) and MySQL

   Please post to the mailing list if you successfully install the software
   with your version of PHP, MySQL, Operating System, etc.

3. INSTALLATION

   A. Create a database.

   B. Put the contents of htdocs in your html directory.

   C. Point your browser to www.yoursite.com/install.php. This will guide you
      through the rest of the process.

4. UPGRADE

   FROM 1.x to 1.5: Updated the image gallery code -- galleries are now any
   directory under IMAGES_PATH that contain images.
   FROM 1.3 to 1.4: Instituted session management via database. Make sure
   that you run install.php to upgrade your database.
   FROM 1.x to 1.3: Replace all files in htdocs. THE FORMAT OF config.php
   HAS COMPLETELY CHANGED.

   + Intuitive journal interface that allows a user to add, edit, and remove
     entries on the fly.
   + Threaded replies.
   + Multiple regular users, and multiple administrators.
   + Image gallery
   + Link substitution (put http://something and it will automatically turn
     into a link and wrap correctly)
   + Standards compliant HTML
