INSTALLATION
-----------------------------------------

You need MySql and php in your web server in order to use this software. If you dont have them and 
want to set up this software on any computer or network use XAMPP from www.apachefriends.org

1) Edit file settings.php and put your database connection information, and rest of setting required.

2) Upload to your web server the files:
admin.php
footer.php
header.php
header_in.php
header_out.php
index.php
license.htm
login.php
logout.php
main_in.php
main_out.php
settings.php
upload.php
edoclogo.gif

Upload the folders:

out

3) Create the database

Use the SQL code written in sql.txt to create the database tables.

or

Upload the file sql.php and point to it with your browser. This will attempt to create the tables for you. 
(you should have created the database and have set the settings.php file).

---REMEMBER TO DELETE/REMOVE sql.php FILE FROM YOUR WEB SERVER ONCE DONE WITH DATABASE AND CHANGE ADMIN PASSWORD---

USE

simple e-document is a simple yet smart document management system for offices-organizations and individuals that
receive a large amount of mail.

It assigns a unique number (protocol) to every document and stores much information about this document. It can be used as 
an electronic file and electronic protocol system. It will also help you organize your physical – hard copy file. 
Many search option so to find easily any document you need and administration system based on users and 
administrators account. Ability to upload-store and open directly the documents and more…

It can be used as desktop or local network application assuming that you have Apache and mysql on you pc (which is very easy to do, 
check XAMPP http://www.apachefriends.org/index-en.html) or your web server for Internet access.


Start with index.php

Use username: SuperAdmin and password: sa1234 to connect for first time. 
Then  visit administration page to change SuperAdmin password or to create new super administrator, users, and administrators.

Important: If you delete all super administrators you will not be able to create admins so be carefull when editing and removing 
super administrators. The best thing to do is to create a second super administrator and ensure that you can login with it, 
then you can edit or remove user SuperAdmin.

Super administators can create and edit users and administrators, they can also edit and remove other super admins, 
so think before you give to someone super admin access since he can even remove you.

Once you finish setting admins or users, visit incoming documents main page and outgoing documents main page so to add incoming and outgoing documents.

You can not delette a document record once you store it.

You can remove documents, removed documents do not appear anywhere. Only administrators can view those and restore them if needed.


User Access System

Users can add, search and remove documents.
Administrators can also create/edit/remove users and view removed documents.
Super Administrators can also  create/edit/remove administrators and super administrators. 

Tip: Use tab to navigate in multiple text fields.
