<h1>Mambots: New / Edit</h1>
<p><span >The <span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold">Mambots: New/Edit</span> page lets you edit the Site Mambots.</span><br  /><span >Detailed functions for each default Mambot is provided below.</span></p>
<h3><span ></span><span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold; ">Toolbar Icons</span></h3><p><span ><strong>Save</strong>: Click to save the parameters entered and return to the Mambot Manager.</span><br  /><br  /><span ><strong>Apply</strong>: Click to save the parameters entered AND keep the same window open for editing.</span><br  /><br  /><span ><strong>Cancel</strong>: Click to cancel any modification just made and to close the window.&nbsp; Any modification is lost. The Mambot remains checked-in.</span></p><h3><span ></span><span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold; ">Mambot Details</span></h3><p><span ><strong>Name</strong>: Type the name of the Mambot as it will appear on the Site Mambots listing. This has no impact on your site.</span><br  /><br  /><span ><strong>Folder</strong>: This shows into which category the Mambot is placed.</span><br  /><br  /><span ><strong>Mambot file</strong>: This is the name of the Mambot file as it appears in the folder.</span><br  /><br  /><span ><strong>Mambot Order</strong>: Choose the order of the Mambot as listed in the Folder when filtering by category.</span><br  /><br  /><span ><strong>Access Level</strong>: Choose who will be able to view this content. Public, Registered or Special.</span><br  /><br  /><span ><strong>Published</strong>: Check the box to let the Mambot show on your site or provide the function it is designed to do.</span><br  /><br  /><span ><strong>Description</strong>: This is a short description on the Mambot's function.</span></p><h3><span ></span><span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold; ">Parameters</span></h3><p><span >If available, they will be displayed here.</span></p><h3><span ></span><span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold; ">Site Mambots provided in a default installation of Mambo</span></h3><h4><span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold; "></span><span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold; ">MOS Image</span></h4><p><span >Usage: </span><span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold; ">{ mosimage }</span></p><p><span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold; "></span>This mambot replaces <strong></strong>tag in content with specified images.&nbsp; You can insert as many of these tags as needed in your articles.&nbsp; To do this while creating or editing a content item,&nbsp; select the images on the &quot;Image&quot; tab under &quot;MOSImage Control&quot;.&nbsp; The replacement of the tags will follow the order of the images in the &quot;Content Images&quot; box.<br /><span ><span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold">NOTE: </span>The tag described above should have no space after&nbsp; &quot;{&quot; and before &quot;}&quot;. It has been displayed with spaces here not to implement the function in this screen.</span></p><h4><span ></span><span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold; ">GeSHi</span></h4><p><span >This displays formatted code in content items based on the GeSHi highlighting engine.</span></p><p >This is to be considered as an enhanced version of mosCode, allowing the rendering of many different programming languages with color-highlighted code by specifying the to-be-used language.</p><p ><strong>Usage</strong>: Use the &quot;pre&quot; tag and add the programming language you want to use for highlighting purposes as a parameter. You should then upload the required &quot;newLanguage.php&quot; from the package into your &quot;<em>\mambots\content\geshi\geshi</em>&quot; folder.</p><p ><strong>NOTE:</strong>&nbsp; As of, this bot seems to have an incompatibility with the Email cloaking mambot.</p><h4 ><span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold; ">Legacy Mambot Includer</span></h4><p ><span >This is support for outdated Mambo 4.5 mambots.<br /></span>This Mambot is unpublished by default; should you experience disfunctions with a particular, older mambot, try to publish it.<span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold; ">&nbsp;</span></p><h4 ><span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold; "></span><span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold; ">Code Support</span></h4><p ><span >This displays formatted code in content items. No syntax highlighting. It has been displayed with spaces here not to implement the function in this screen.</span></p><h4 ><span ></span><span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold; ">MOS Rating</span></h4><p ><span >This will add the Voting functionality to Content Items.</span></p><p ><strong>NOTE:</strong> For this mambot's output to be visible, you must set &quot;<em>Item Rating/Voting</em>:&quot; to &quot;<em>Show</em>&quot; <br />through Site- &gt; Global Configuration- &gt; Content.<br /><br />Users will then be presented with a rating system from 1 to 5 at the top of a full content item.&nbsp; They will be able to cast their vote (once).</p><h4 ><span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold; ">Email Cloaking</span></h4><p ><span >This h</span>ides all e-mails in content from spambots using javascript. It does not function for Link - URL Menu Items. By editing the mambot, you may select between 2 settings under Parameters&nbsp; -&gt; Mode:</p><ul ><li><em style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold">Nonlinkable Text</em><span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold">&nbsp;</span>will display an email typed by the user as simple text (not linked)</li><li><em>As <span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold">linkable mailto </span>address</em> will display the email address as a link to send an email, using the specified address.</li></ul><p>As of these are the ways the address should be written:<br /></p><div style="MARGIN-LEFT: 40px">1. In plain text: hide@address.com<br /></div><div style="MARGIN-LEFT: 40px">2. As a mailto: &lt;a href=&quot;mailto:hide@address.com&quot;&gt;hide@address.com&lt;/a&gt;<br /></div><p>Otherwise the cloaking prevents the address from being decrypted when calling the mailer.</p><h4><span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold; ">Load Module Positions</span></h4><p><span >This loads module positions within Content.</span><br  /><span ><strong>Usage:</strong></span><span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold; "> {mosloadposition user1} </span><span >where 'user1' is one of the positions defined for your site through Site-&gt;Templates-&gt;Modules Positions.</span><br  /><br  /><span >This means <strong>you may load any module assigned to this position at this specific place into your Content</strong> without defining the position into the Template index.php file.</span><br  /><br  /><span >Parameters lets you choose a style of HTML code to insert the module:</span></p><ul style="MARGIN-LEFT: 40px; "><li>Wrapped by Table - Column</li><li>Wrapped by Table - Horizontal</li><li>Wrapped by Divs</li><li>No wrapping, raw output</li></ul><h4><span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold; ">MOS Pagination</span></h4><p><span >This will&nbsp;add a Table of Contents functionality to a paginated item.</span><br  /><span ><strong>Usage: { mospagebreak } or { mospagebreak title=The page title } or { mospagebreak heading=The first page } or { mospagebreak title=The page title&amp;heading=The first page } or { mospagebreak heading=The first page&amp;title=The page title }<br /></strong><br  /></span><span >A new 'contenttoc' CSS class is used to display this Table of Contents.<br /><br  /></span><span ><span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold">NOTE:</span> The tags described above should have no space after&nbsp; &quot;{&quot; and before &quot;}&quot;. They have been displayed with spaces here not to implement the function in this screen.</span></p><h5><span ></span><span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold; ">Parameters</span></h5><p><span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold; "></span><span ><strong>Site Title</strong>: This lets you add or not the mambot title and heading attributes to the Site Title Tag.</span></p><h4><span ></span><span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold; ">No WYSIWYG Editor</span></h4><p><span >This loads a basic text entry field wherever you may edit content.</span></p><h4><span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold; ">TinyMCE Editor</span></h4><p><span >This loads this default WYSIWYG Editor wherever you may edit content.</span></p><h4><span ></span><span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold; ">MOS Image Editor Button</span></h4><p><span >This provides the button to insert the MOS Image tag into content edit box.</span></p><h4><span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold; ">MOS Pagebreak Editor Button</span></h4><p><span >This provides the button to insert the { mospagebreak }&nbsp; tag into content edit box.</span></p><h4><span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold; ">Search Content</span><br style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold; " /><span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold; ">Search Weblinks</span><br style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold; " /><span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold; ">Search Contacts</span><br style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold; " /><span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold; ">Search Categories</span><br style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold; " /><span style="FONT-WEIGHT: bold; ">Search Sections</span></h4><p><span >These Mambots allows searches among these items, if they are published (default).</span> </p>
