How to install

Well, you have obviously installed CMSimple LE already. But please read about File permissions and Security issues in the Installer's Manual

How to login

Click on Login in the menu. Default login is 'test' - remember to change login under settings.

You will then enter the wysiwyg-editor where you can create and edit pages and change settings etc.

How to create pages

Headings with html tags are used for splitting up the content file. An H1, H2 or H3 tag or heading will dynamically split the document into new pages in the table of contents. An H4-heading is used as a heading within a page.

If you don't know what an H1 tag is, don't panic. Just try to click on the H1 menu button in the editor and write a word and then save. You will then see how CMSimple LE creates a new page for you.

See the following pages...

An H1 tag

An H1 heading splits the text into a new first menu level page

An H2 tag

An H2 heading splits the text into a new second menu level page

An H3 tag

An H3 heading splits into a new third level page

An H4 tag

An H4 heading does not by default split into a new page

How to delete a page

When you delete a document's heading or an entire page, normally an empty heading is left in the document - remove this by using the paragraph button or by using the HTML/Layout button to get hold of the HTML-code for the heading, which is to be deleted.
