This is a PHP script used to create and manage user records in a MySQL database. It can be used to authenticate users on a websites.

It can perform several types of operations on users with information stored in a MySQL database, like:
- adding a new user
- verify the login and password of an user
- check if an user exist with a given e-mail address
- update and retrieve user information
- activate an user account.
