iLogin is a free Member login system that allow you to password protect parts of your site. Visitor can only gain access to these pages if they sign up and provide you with certain information about themselves. Some of the informationg fields (postal address, ICQ and telephone number) are optional - it is up to you, the webmaster, to decide whether yuo want to gather this information or not.

Unlike some other system, sign up is instantaneous - there is not need for an adminstrator to verify new users. A new user can instantly access your password protected pages.

Email address verification can be optionally performed. With this feature enabled, users are sent an email containing a link that they must click to activate their login. This ensures that the email address that they give is correct.

iLogin uses standard .htaccess files to provide password protection for directories or files on your server. iLogin updates the .htpasswd file to allow new visitors instant access.
