This is a PHP library to use Textile on MediaWiki sites. MediaWiki is the wiki script used to power Wikipedia.

Textile is a lightweight markup language originally developed by Dean Allen and billed as a "humane Web text generator". Textile converts its marked-up text input to valid, well-formed XHTML and also inserts character entity references for apostrophes, opening and closing single and double quotation marks, ellipses and em dashes.

Installation and usage instructions are provided with the download package, on the top of the source code. To use Textile2 in a page, put #MARKUP textile2 at the top of the page.

Requirements:
- Mediawiki 1.6.x, 1.9.x, 1.10.x or Higher
- PHP 4.x, 5.x or Higher
