OPACIAL is a Web 2.0 open source Online Public Access Catalog based on PHP and MySQL. Users can insert their own social tags/opinions and have a faceted search/browse interface. It is features for social tags browsing/searching, user opinions, faceted browsing of results, related items retrieval using social tags, integration with DSpace repository, Intergration of physical and information spaces in which user can see the physical location of the book, easy web-based administration and information abstraction using views that are easily managed through a web-based interface.
